There's something magical about weekends in our lives.
It's Friday evening; switch ON the "Weekend Mode."
Switch off your laptops and PCs; they, too, need to rest.
Drop down your stress, tension, and work pressures. Enter into the world of happiness, satisfaction, and serenity that's long-awaited.
The weekend is the time to let go of your formal attire and pull up your relaxing pajamas and lovely, crumpled T-shirts or an old shirt from the almirah. While you feel light and lively with that fresh gleaming look, the weekend offers the opportunity to attend to what truly matters and makes your life livable and lovable.
Weekend Moments - My Way
🌟 Reconnect with your parents – Call or visit your parents. They, too, love sharing conversations filled with warmth and child-like laughter. Help them complete a few of their important chores. Help them set up their medicines for the succeeding week, tidy up their beds, books, and cupboards.
🌟 Connect with your bundles of joy – Your kids and pets need you. Spend time with them. Your cozy lap is their throne. Ignore what society thinks and begin to laugh out loud. Show that you have a soft heart behind strong lungs. Contribute to anything that makes your kids happy. Rollback into those enchanting "Old Memories."
🌟 Prioritize and Practice self-care – While you have terrorized and traumatized your body with your sedentary lifestyle, inadequate sleep, and a multitude of junk foods, it's time to gain back your health and flexibility. Limit yourself to healthier meals. Stretch yourself well in the warm winter Sun or find a peaceful and pristine corner to meditate. Offer your hobbies the importance they deserve. Pull out your favorite novel from the private library. Rest, relax, and recharge with some soulful, retro music.
🌟 Strengthen family bonds – Prove that you are a part of the family in the true sense by handling those small but meaningful tasks. Present your cute wife with freshly brewed tea or coffee decorated with fresh cream and lots of love. Wear different caps and bring alive an electrician, plumber, gardener, or chef. Make your family feel proud, precious, and privileged during your weekends.
A weekend doesn't imply "A Big Pause." In fact, accept it as an opportunity to nourish your mind, heart, and relationships and bring back that work-life balance.
Weekends, in their true sense, inspire you to embrace your life, fill it with purpose and cause, and feel that abundance, grace, and gratitude.
